Hillary Clinton Praises Nancy Reagan’s (fictional) leadership on AIDS
During Nancy Reagan’s funeral, Hillary Clinton went on national television and praised the Reagans for starting a “national dialogue” at at time when nobody wanted to talk about AIDS, or do anything about AIDS. Only thing is, that’s the opposite of the truth. The Reagan Administration epitomized people who didn’t want to say or do anything about the AIDS epidemic. In 1984, even after tens of thousands of gay Americans had died from the disease, the Reagan administration was still joking about it.
